AKB48 in 61st Kohaku Uta Gassen

 

Today is the anual Kouhaku Uta Gassen. For the 3rd time, AKB48 are part of the RED team. Their medley consisted of Beginner, Heavy Rotation & Ponytail to Shushu! Almost 130 people were in stage: all 56 AKB48 members plus all SKE48 and NMB48!

THE IDOLM@STER 2 Preview and 6th PV [Little Match Girl]

Some weeks ago, a new THE IDOLM@STER 2 Promotional Video was released on Namco Bandai Games Official YouTube Channel. In this new PV (the 6th one), we see some more previews of the game & a really short segment of that new song I talked a month ago: Little Match Girl.

I love Little Match Girl! It sounds "80ish". Yukiho's new seiyuu, Asakura Azumi, sounds really nice. Her voice really suits Yukiho's character ^^ I'm happy to see cool Makoto in there, too :P. Also, dance looks more real than any other IM@S dance... It looks really smooth!

"Snow Halation" Short PV & covers!

I'm really late at this...but I was really busy with University :/

Anyway... Next Wednesday Love Live!'s 2nd single is out!! Actually... μ's (ミューズ or "miuzu") new single :D. That's right... finally (well, like a month ago ^^U) the actual name of the group has been decided among the fans' choices! 

Since Snow Halation release is so close... a short PV has been uploaded to Dengeki Official YouTube Channel, just as their first single.

THE iDOLM@STER 2 date announced: February 2011!

 Finally we have a date: February 24th, 2011!

As all IDOLM@STER related releases, preordering the game will allow you to get some "extras". I this case, you will be able to get a new song: "Little Match Girl". Also, usual promotional cards are limited to those who preorder it.

Sakura Gakuin single debut!

It's so wrong that I haven't talk about them yet!! Being a fan of Karen Girl's and being following the activity of two of its former members (Suzuka and Ayami) I was extremely happy to know about this new project this past summer.

Dream Fighter cover by SPL∞ASH members (Pickup of the week)

I always loved groups (idol groups, dance & singing groups) from dance/singers schools. They have a total different aura despite they usually perform popular idol songs.

This time, I wanted to talked about ACTOR'S SCHOOL HIROSHIMA. You may know this singer's school  from the popular trio Perfume, singer Nakamoto Suzuka (ex-Karen Girl's, soloist and currently a Sakura Gakuin member) or idol group Manaminorisa (まなみのりさ). I'm always searching for some new performances on YouTube or NicoNico Douga from their regular events. Those are really enjoyable.

Today (well, I started writing this post like one month ago xD) I choose to share this live performance by three members of the group SPL∞ASH

Love Live! 2nd Single 『Snow halation』

A new single for the mysterious anime-idol group Love Live! has been announced! Snow halation is going to be the title of their second single to be released this December 22nd.

The CD includes a b-side song together with both a-side and b-side karaokes  plus an original drama part. DVD includes an animation shot video (or what we call PV for real idols) of Snow halation. Unlike its predecessor, there's a Limited Edition with a special designed cover :D!

I'm looking foward to this project, it's interesting to see how all this idol-boom is influencing the anime, too (you're going to know what I'm talking about when I write about ACG38 xD!).

Afilia Saga East 5th single CM!

Afilia Saga East is realising its 5th single in December 1st! Knee-high Egoist (ニーハイ・エゴイスト) lyrics are written by Shikura Chiyomaru (one of Afilia Saga East's producers) and composed by Tsunku (Hello! Project & TNX/Nice Girl Project producer)! After holding that idol wrestling event some months ago... it looks like he enjoyed working with other idols ;P

You can listen a small preview of Knee-high Egoist in their official site. Song it's  really Tsunk-ish xD!

B-side is called Koi wo Game ni shinaide! (恋をゲームにしないで!) and is the ending theme song of the PS3 game "Chojigen Game Neptune" (超次元ゲイム ネプテューヌ). Lyrics are written by Halko Momoi (also one of Afilia Saga East's producers).

Some time soon I'm going to translate Halko Momoi Spain (by BDASHU & xRukix)'s post about Afilia Saga East since it's the only place with a complete "profile" that's not in Japanese ^^!

It's nice to see how they're gaining more popularity with each release. I would love to see them doing some TV Live some day!

Furukawa Mirin's radio "Akiba ni mukatte B dasshu!"

Furukawa Mirin's weekly radio show started this past Wednesday with the name of "Akiba ni mukatte B dasshu!" (アキバにむかってBだっしゅ！).

The show is about 40 minutes long and can be seen in her USTREAM channel. You can see the show every Wednesday at 23:30 pm (Japan Time).

Mirin is an idol singer from idol/cosplay Cafe & Bar Dear Stage at Akihabara. She's also a dancer on Nico Nico Douga! Also, her last single Mirikaru☆Fantasy reached the nº 5 spot on Oricon Indies Singles ^^!

Pinky Jones and Kimi to Sekai PV previews!

And I say preview because as a H!O member said it's not the full version! At today's event they showed the full PV and it looks like it starts with a short skit ^^!

Pinky Jones is the typical Momoiro song... crazy, weird, energic,... xD I have to say I love their outfits, specially Akari & Ayaka's ones. My favorite part of the song in the min 2:35 where they all have solos and they "say" their names ^^.

Kimi to Sekai (キミとセカイ) preview is very short, but I like the song so far. It sounds like a cool song... at least it's PV looks like is going to be "cool" xD.

I'm looking foward this single and their upcoming performance in Music Japan on November 7th! Don't forget Pinky Jones & Kimi to Sekai aren't the only songs/PVs included in this single.... we have COCO☆NATSU too!

Underground idols united: KiSS＆KiSS(キスキス)

A month ago a new idol group from Kansai was formed: KiSS&KiSS (キスキス). It consist of 14 members (2 groups, 1 duo and 4 soloists) from 5 different agencies: Grace, KID Company, Partir, Treasure Factory and SP!Ke.

They first release is a double A-side single: School Days and Kimi to itsumademo (君といつまでも) that came out past September 29th. We have a little preview of their first PV on YouTube:

It doesn't look like this release is going to be in any online shop such as Amazon, HMV,... since there isn't any more info about it :( I suppose they're going to sell it only in their own events.

They also apppered in the MusicJapanTV's USTREAM channel two times:

Each member presented themselves. They also showed a PV preview of 
School Days, rehearsals, some making of and a School Days' performance :D

 The whole show is for them. They showed some backstage footage from the previus show

and some clips from their first presentation. They also performed Kimi to Itsumademo at the end.

I'm writing a second post about them focusing in each group/soloist since I knew about them before  KiSS&KiSS. That's one of the reasons I'm very happy when I knew about this project ^^!

I'm surprised how the seiyuu look kind of like their characters! I supposed they want to give the same importance to both the anime characters and their seiyuus. Now I wonder if they're going to perform as a normal/real idol group does...
